Makam kaolin was established in 2003 to produce arguably the best grade kaolin pellets primarily for the laundry bar soap and paint industries in ghana. In jan 2005 makam started producing calcium carbonate from oyster shells. In 2006 makam added has started producin gypsum for a leading fertilizer company in ghana.
